섬기는 사람들

By God’s grace, I was born into a family where my great-great-grandfather heard the gospel from a missionary in the early 1900s and accepted Jesus Christ, and where four generations have maintained their faith. This led me to participate in church throughout my childhood and adolescence, growing up healthy both physically and spiritually. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a pastor, and during my school years, I felt a calling to ministry.

After completing my studies at Kosin University (B.A.) and Korea Theological Seminary (M.Div.), I was ordained as a pastor by the Central Busan Presbytery of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of Korea (Kosin). During my time as a pastor, I traveled to England to continue my theological studies.

While studying in England (at London Seminary), I served in Korean churches and at the Metropolitan Tabernacle (Spurgeon’s Church), a church in England. Through this ministry, I encountered many young Koreans, Korean families, and international marriages. This led me to recognize the need for ministry among these individuals in London. This led me to begin my ministry to immigrants in London.

“May the Lord’s peace be with you all.
This is Pastor Kim Seong-hun.

Happiness is the ultimate goal of humanity.
The reason and purpose for toiling and sweating on this earth is to enjoy happiness and joy.

However, no matter how hard people try, they cannot find or enjoy true happiness.
The world’s values and methods can never satisfy people’s happiness.

So how can we find true happiness?
How can we experience true joy and happiness?

It is only possible through faith in Jesus.

Because humans have lost God, who gives true happiness,
the only way for people to return to God is through Jesus.

Therefore, our church places the highest priority on spreading the gospel and teaching the Word.
We are also a worshipping community that worships in the Spirit and in truth.

Through this, we
aim to live a life that glorifies the Triune God by living a life centered on God, the Bible, and the church.

I invite you to join me in building a church like this.
I want to build up the body of Christ together with you.
