Vision & Policy

LGC Vision & Policy

First, it is the basic ministry of the church.

1. A Worshipping Church

This is a worship service where truth is proclaimed and the resulting grace and inspiration are felt.
All grace begins with worship. And learning to fear God also begins with worship.
Therefore, we seek to cultivate a more biblical form of worship.
We desire to build the church through traditional worship, not open or praise-centered worship.

2. A Praying Church

God accomplishes His will through prayer.
Therefore, both the entire church gathering together to pray and the individual prayers of each member are truly important.
Above all, I desire for our pastors, members, and churches to be fervent in prayer.

3. An Evangelistic Church

The way the church loves the world most is by bearing witness to the gospel of God. We strive to become a church with a missionary mission.

The second is the ministry that the church aims for.

 4. A working church

The church has a variety of ministries to fulfill. Through these, we must continually confirm and fulfill God’s covenant.
I especially hope the church will dedicate its efforts to Sunday school, youth, and young adults.

5. A Learning Church

The congregation must grow steadily.
To achieve this, pastors must ensure that the congregation possesses not only the Word of God, but also the confessions of faith, the Larger and Shorter Catechisms, and basic theological knowledge.

6. A Loving Church

Believers must have true love for the church and for one another. This is both a confession and an expression of faith,
for it is a crucial spiritual principle in all things. We need fellowship among believers, beginning with sharing the Word, and various ministries of mercy.
